Ivelisse began training in her birthplace of Puerto Rico at the young age of 14. It wouldn’t be long before she caught the eye of WWE and joined the cast of Tough Enough as a contestant back in 2011. Unfortunately, she had to depart from the show due to injury, but was still signed to a developmental contract by the company, after they clearly saw the raw talent she possessed.
She was released a few years later, only appearing in FCW and NXT, due to controversial circumstances, but has gone on to win both multi-person and singles gold in many other promotions, most notably Lucha Underground.
