10. Boyhood Dream (WrestleMania XII)
It would be facile and stupid to exclude the man dubbed Mr. WrestleMania from this list. Definitely not his best performance, but one just cannot ignore the first historic moment for Shawn Michaels on the show. Many fans would argue that Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart at WrestleMania XII was probably both the most unfairly praised and unfairly maligned match in the history of WrestleMania.
However, it was a really well-told story leading up to its logical conclusion, where Michaels won the event and the WWE Championship. The 60-minute iron man match went into overtime and Michaels took full advantage, pinned Hart to realize his boyhood dream.
