7. Money in the Bank Ladder Match – WrestleMania 21 (****1/2)
The first-ever Money in the Bank ladder match was quite the spectacle in 2005.
Edge took on Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Kane, Christian, and Shelton Benjamin and made history yet again by winning the contest.
The first-ever Mr. Money in the Bank would go on and successfully cash in his briefcase almost a year later against John Cena for the WWE Championship.
6. Vs. John Cena vs. Randy Orton vs. Shawn Michaels – WWE Backlash 2007 (****1/2)
John Cena put his WWE title on the line at WWE Backlash against three of the best ever.
In the epic four-way Edge, Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels showed Cena and the world why they belonged at the very top of the industry at the time.
Eventually, it was Cena who overcame this storm of incredibly good wrestling television that has withstood the test of time.
5. Vs. The Undertaker – WWE SummerSlam 2008 (****1/2)
The main event of the 2008 SummerSlam saw Edge take on The Undertaker inside Hell in a Cell.
The rivalry between the two had lasted a year and a half and was set to finally end with the clash of Edge and the phenom at the biggest blockbuster of the summer.
Edge, who even brought his beloved tables, ladders, and chairs into the match, was unable to beat The Undertaker, though.
After the match, Undertaker chokeslamed Edge off a ladder, through the canvas of the ring.
4. Vs. John Cena – WWE Backlash 2009 (****1/2)
The feud between Cena and Edge left a mark in wrestling history.
It even came up in a South Park episode. But one day even the greatest rivalries have got to end.
In a bombshell of a Last Man Standing Match, Edge was able to defeat John Cena and win the World Heavyweight Championship, moving the title over to SmackDown.
