10. Sanity
We can’t really say that Sanity have had it easy recently, can we? Eric Young was brought in to NXT as a bit of a surprise. He had a couple of fun matches against Samoa Joe, but then vanished for a while. Many, myself included, thought that he had perhaps gone back to TNA (just as James Storm had done), but he then eventually appeared as the head of the newly debuting Sanity stable, grouped together with Sawyer Fulton (later replaced by Killian Dain), Nikki Cross, and former Ringkampf member Alexander Wolfe.
The team saw huge popularity and success, even winning the the NXT Tag Team Championships (like a number of teams on this list). WrestleMania 34 comes and goes, and Sanity move up to SmackDown. Great! But hang on a second – Nikki Cross (arguably the best part of the stable) is nowhere to be seen, and soon enough, neither are the other three – as creative just don’t seem to have anything for them. We’re coming up to a year on now, and they’re rarely even mentioned, let alone actually on TV. Let’s hope that fortunes change, and the gang can be back on our screens, causing chaos again soon.
