18. Finn Bálor (85) / Finn Bálor Demon (87)
Based on these scores, the far superior Demon version of Finn Bálor is only two points better than the generic tights and boots incarnation.
I beg to disagree.
In kayfabe terms, the Demon is vastly superior. Heck, he has never been beaten inside a WWE ring – his rating should be 100!
Ahem.
Even in real terms, Finn’s darker side persona is a massive improvement on his regular day to day character, which has regularly found itself toiling in the murky waters of the WWE midcard. The Demon would never do that.
When Bálor unleashed the Demon at SummerSlam two years ago he became the first ever WWE Universal Champion. Can you picture happy-go-lucky smiling nice guy Bálor ever doing that? They have got this one way off.
17. Lars Sullivan (80)
WWE rate limited Lars far too highly both in real life and in video game world.
The powerhouse grappler is alright, that’s it, he is not great. Yet, based on this, he is superior to the likes of Undisputed Era star Bobby Fish and on a par with modern day Kane.
That’s former multiple-time World and Tag Team Champion Kane, by the way.
Sullivan is given the same score as the 2012 version of R-Truth, a man who headlined Survivor Series the year before against The Rock and John Cena. Somehow, I don’t see the same being said for Sullivan anytime soon.
