9. Dolph Ziggler and Tye Dillinger
Even though Ziggler may be winding up his career, WWE has missed the window of capitalizing on how over Ziggler was during his most over. He was never able to get over the hump to become the big star. Tye Dillinger looks to be on a similar career trajectory. His “10” chants were certainly over even if he never actually was.
These two would make a good combination, in my opinion. I’m not saying they could rise to prominence like the New Age Outlaws, but the coming together of these two might reignite the spark the crowds had for them at one time. I see them starting out as heels, but eventually a face turn could work. They have similarities in move-sets and could possibly make for some interesting combo moves.
Dolph’s theme song mentions the word ‘perfect’ in it. Obviously, Tye is the ‘Perfect Ten’. Maybe they are the Perfect Tens as a team. It also wouldn’t be the first time these two have tagged together. They wrestled as a team in FCW when it was WWE developmental. One thing’s for sure, I would see WWE having a team with the potential to have some superkick parties of their own.
