10. Adam Cole wins Money In The Bank
NXT call-ups are absolutely not the best solutions to WWE’s main roster booking problems. These should only be done when it’s the right time for both brands. A botched call-up can not only damage the wrestler on their way to the main roster, but but also leave a gaping hole in the NXT roster.
I do however feel that it’s the right time to call the Undisputed Boys boys. The main roster has been lacking any sort of major heel stable threat, and NXT has had some fantastic new additions to its talent pool recently too – so it’s unlikely that calling the Undisputed Era up as a unit would have any sort of major negative effect on the black and gold brand.
With that said, Adam Cole should win Money In The Bank. All of the winners the last few years have been underwhelming at best, and in the case of Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin, arguably wasted. Money In The Bank generally works better with a heel than a face wrestler, and Adam Cole could quite easily be Universal Championship material. Winning the case through nefarious means (perhaps with some UE interference), and a slow burn run as Mr Money In The Bank before cashing in at a major PPV could be just what Cole needs to be launched (quite rightly) into the main event.
