This was a big week in wrestling. Raw had an incredibly bad week, SmackDown had a good week, Cody hinted more about All Elite Wrestling, and Becky Lynch returned from her broken face and concussion injury.
As always, I have questions.
10. How Do You Take Three Hours And Do Nothing?
I am powerless to explain how Monday Night Raw manages to take three hours of television and somehow make it inexcusably unenjoyable. Just by the laws of probability, you’d think that they’d be able to make one or two segments enjoyable, and yet here we are.
I don’t know if it’s happening because the writing has been lackluster, and I don’t know if it’s that the booking has been so repetitive and predictable that there’s no point in really watching. I don’t know if it’s something else. All I know is that it’s unnecessarily terrible right now and something has to be done.
SmackDown Live just hit a big fat reset button on a few of its storylines and has reinvigorated itself. Raw should take the cue and run with something resembling an interesting storyline.
