10 Stars With The Most Elimination Chamber Eliminations

10 Stars With The Most Elimination Chamber Eliminations

8. Daniel Bryan – 4 Eliminations

When this list was originally published Daniel Bryan fell short of being included. Despite entering three Elimination Chamber matches from 2012-2014, Bryan only managed two eliminations.

The first came in 2012 when he submitted Santino Marella with the Yes Lock to retain the World Heavyweight Championship. The match was focused on Marella trying to win the title but Bryan was able to outlast him.

After a lackluster showing in 2013, Bryan returned to the Elimination Chamber in 2014. There he eliminated Christian en route to being defeated by Randy Orton. This was during the period where WWE was content to not push Bryan and rather go with Orton and Batista main eventing WrestleMania XXX, resulting in a melancholic response to this match.

When Bryan returned from his retirement in 2018, he eventually found himself holding the WWE Championship and heading into the Elimination Chamber once again. Here he was engaged in a rivalry with Kofi Kingston. After a grueling match, Bryan was able to eliminate both Jeff Hardy and Kingston to retain the title.

These four eliminations now put Bryan ahead of other stars who finished with just three. Those who failed to make the cut include Goldberg, Carlito, Shawn Michaels, Kofi Kingston, Batista, and Rey Mysterio.

8. Sheamus – 4 Eliminations

Sheamus, unlike Goldberg or Carlito, has appeared in more than one Chamber match, appearing in four. The first in 2010, when he defended his WWE Championship. In 2011 he fought to face The Miz at WrestleMania 27 for the WWE Championship, and in 2014, he tried to win back the WWE Championship. His last chamber appearance came in 2015, when he fought for the Intercontinental Championship, the only title in WWE that has evaded him in his career thus far.

Sheamus has never won a Chamber match but has successfully obtained four eliminations. In his first match where he entered as champion, Sheamus eliminated Kofi Kingston, before being pinned by future rival Triple H.

In 2011, Sheamus eliminated R-Truth before finally being felled by John Morrison after an impressive dive from the top of the structure (yes, you know the one). Sheamus hoped for better luck in his next Elimination Chamber match. In 2014,  despite lasting 26 minutes, Sheamus was actually the first man eliminated scoring no eliminations.

Sheamus was hoping for fourth time lucky in 2015, when he competed in the first Intercontinental Championship chamber, eliminating Mark Henry, and then Dolph Ziggler in quick succession. Sheamus was eliminated by Ryback, who went on to win the match.

Fans greeted Sheamus with the ‘you look stupid!’ chant when he returned in 2015, however, looking at his elimination records, you shouldn’t sleep on the first Irish born WWE Champion.

8. Edge – 4 Eliminations

Edge – having never won a World Title at this point – entered with 2005 Elimination Chamber with Triple H, Chris Benoit, Randy Orton, Batista and Chris Jericho (mouth-watering). Edge’s first chamber match did not get off to the best start, as the ‘Rated R Superstar’ (cue Tony Chimel), was the first man to be eliminated, following a Lionsault from Y2J.

However, Edge’s most defining Chamber moment came in 2009 at No Way Out. At the beginning of the night, Edge was WWE Champion. Shockingly, in that match, he was eliminated by Jeff Hardy inside just under three minutes, again scoring no eliminations. In a Nia Jax-like fashion, Edge would attack Kofi Kingston before he entered the Chamber, and take his place in the match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Edge would eliminate the champion John Cena, and beat Rey Mysterio to cap off an eventful evening.

Edge won his next chamber match in 2011, defending the World Heavyweight Championship. He eliminated Kane, before once again eliminating Rey Mysterio to win the match.

Edge is not only the first man on this list to win a chamber, but also the first to defend his title in one, averaging an elimination in every Chamber match he has been in, an interesting fact given the fact that he did not score an elimination in his first two outings.
