10. The WCW/ECW Alliance
Possibly the most disappointing storyline ever in wrestling, the invasion was supposed to be fantasy booking becoming reality. Years in the making, it fell apart due to terrible decision making and a huge lack of star power on the Alliance side, due in part to wrestlers like Sting and Goldberg waiting for their existing contracts to expire rather than join the WWE. Add in Stephanie McMahon “owning” ECW and the fact that guys like Stone Cold Steve Austin were forced to align with them due to no upper echelon names on their side and this was just a terrible faction with a terrible ending.
