10. The Undertaker vs Roman Reigns – WrestleMania 33
I mean, this probably wouldn’t be on the list if Undertaker had left his dirty laundry in the ring for his phen-mum to pick up and, you know, ACTUALLY retired from wrestling. That would have given the match an emotional weight that would have papered over the, how to put this, sadder portions of the match.
But now that Undertaker has wrestled other matches, and actually released a documentary about how disappointed he was in his intended farewell match against The Big Dog, that’s given us all free reign to point at it and say, yeah… shit, that.
Undertaker spent most of the match wandering around like he’d lost his keys, it was glacially paced, clocking in at a ludicrous 25 minutes and each blown spot just makes your soul feel that little bit smaller. The end of a match shouldn’t make you feel relieved it was over, no matter how much we love The Devil’s Favourite Demon’s Favourite Brother.
