10. Christopher Daniels
If we are to suggest new members of an AEW Four Horsemen, it is fitting that we find people suitable to fit the mould of the group’s previous iteration.
Saying that, let’s look at Tully Blanchard’s role in the group. Blanchard was never the leader of the group, but was a great in-ring workers providing back-up to Flair. The role was also filled by Barry Windham and Lex Luger, and both had charisma, but not enough to overshadow Flair, and that’s what made them work.
Taking that into consideration, a guy like seasoned veteran Christopher Daniels could be perfect for the role, and would give the new group some much needed experience.
Daniels’ is 48 years of age and is the current head of Talent Relations for AEW. The former ROH World Champion’s age should not fool you, Daniels is still an exceptional in-ring performer and should provide some backup for a younger heel leader of the new Four Horsemen who would try and usurp Cody and The Elite at the top of the AEW card.
Daniels should make the new group feel instantly legitimate, and should he split from Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky, his SCU teammates, Daniels could really help a new Four Horsemen.
