In the 55 years that WWE has existed in its various forms, everyone who is anyone in the wrestling business has stepped through the company’s doors and wrestled in its hallowed ring. In recent years especially – what with the dawn of NXT and the expansion into the United Kingdom – more wrestlers than ever have stepped between the ropes for the biggest promotion in the world.
Then there are those who have somehow slipped from the memory. Wrestlers – several of them all-time greats – who have competed for WWE without much fanfare, with their appearances and contributions forgotten about by the fans or even the promotion itself.
In the first of our new regular “10 Wrestlers . . .” series, we track down the most notable names who wrestled for WWE that everyone has seemingly erased from the memory.
