Following Kenny Omega’s title defence against Christian Cage at AEW All Out, who should make his return from the dead but Adam Cole.
Cole made his way to the ring, standing opposite The Elite and promptly turned heel, rejoining his friends. That sure is one way to forgive murder.

Every single time Rey Fenix is given a chance to shine he knocks it out of the park.
This has been seen multiple times over in AEW with classic matches with Kenny Omega, Nick Jackson, and his brother Penta El Zero Miedo.
While this likely wouldn’t be a pay-per-view match or anything resulting in a long feud, a match between Adam Cole and Rey Fenix is all kinds of exciting.
If you want to give Cole an opponent to go full-PWG with, Fenix could be the guy.

Not only is Adam Cole one of the most exciting wrestlers in the world, but he is also one of the most entertaining.
With that in mind, how cool would it be to see him face the biggest entertainer in AEW, Orange Cassidy? Cassidy has proven that he is not just a comedy act and is capable of being a main event wrestler in AEW.
If he needs another opponent to clash with, Cole would be a welcome challenge. They are both exceptional wrestlers but the comedic moments they could pull off together are perhaps even more exciting.
10. Darby Allin
There are many up-and-coming stars in AEW but Darby Allin might be the most popular. His connection with the audience and young fans in particular is special and after wrestling CM Punk, he has proven himself as a main event player.
It would seem like Allin’s trajectory will see him continue to climb the ranks of AEW and before long a match with Adam Cole could be presented with these two as equals.
This speaks to how much AEW has done to push Allin and how much he has done to connect with audiences. Also, that match would be an absolute banger.
