15 Most Insane Things Going On In WWE Right Now

In the world of WWE is seems like there is one major drama after another at the moment.

It has been a wild few months, with massive controversies (Saudi Arabia), historic first-time events (Evolution), heartbreaking injuries (Roman, Becky, etc), stunning title changes, shocking turns and some utterly baffling television output.

So much has been going on that is has been difficult to keep up with it all.

Fortunately WrestleTalk has been keeping tabs on the countless shenanigans, incidents and happenings. So here it is, the most INSANE things that are happening in WWE right now.

1. Exploiting Roman

The news that Roman Reigns was going to be out indefinitely while battling leukaemia hit the WWE fan base like a hammer blow.

For all the audience enjoyed giving Vince McMahon’s ‘chosen one’ a hard time, once the reality of his situation became apparent all of that bitterness and jadedness melted away. Fans were genuinely devastated about the news.

It seems WWE did not get the memo.

Rather than handling the news delicately with kid gloves, the promotion opted to shamelessly exploit Roman’s illness in a quest for ratings and heat.

It was bad enough that Dean Ambrose turned on Seth Rollins on “this night of all nights” but for him to suggest Roman’s illness was somehow karma for his sins while in the Shield on Raw last night was a step too far.

Unfortunately this icky exploitation shows no sign of abating, with Dave Meltzer noting on Wrestling Observer Radio that the direction is expected to continue throughout the storyline.
