3. WWE Doesn’t Pull Out All The Stops
In years passed, the post-WrestleMania Raw would be the night were some of the biggest angles of the year would occur. In 2013, Dolph Ziggler cashed in his Money in the Bank contract and won the World Heavyweight Championship and Ryback turned heel in the main event by attacking John Cena. In 2011, The Rock and Cena announced their match for the following year’s WrestleMania main event.
In the last two years, there has been nothing close to as monumental as the things they have done in the past. The Raw after ‘Mania is the show that has the most viewers WWE will have all year and an audience of that size should not be taken for granted. The biggest angles of the year need to be presented before the biggest audience in order to have the biggest impact possible. If WWE waits to have their biggest angles on the next week’s show they will have lost their opportunity to showcase their plans to that audience.
