# 30 Surprise Royal Rumble Entrants You Don’t Wanna See

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/trump.jpg)

Welcome ladies and gentlemen and all others to the First Annual WrestleTalk Worst Rumble ever. We’ve scoured the globe for 30 wrestlers you sure as hell don’t wanna see at this year’s Rumble. We’ve gathered these agents of awful together in our makeshift ring to battle it out for the crown of who’s the most cringe-inducing. Join us now on our countdown of entrants in the worst Rumble ever.

## 1. David Arquette

[Are You Serious? - Episode 14 (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/3kaIo7mEdBc?start=127&feature=oembed)

Starting off in the number one spot is a man who was part of one of **WCW’s** most embarrassing moments, and that’s saying something. I’ll admit that *Ready to Rumble* isn’t as bad a movie as you’d think, but David Arquette had no business in the ring. Some credit goes to Arquette for being self-aware enough to know it was a bad idea, and you can’t really fault him for going with what Vince Russo wanted him to do. I mean if I was famous enough to appear on an episode of RAW and Vince wanted to put the strap on me for a night, I might throw all dignity and respect for the belt out the window and say “hell yeah!”

## 2. Eugene

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/eugene-1.jpg)

Well here’s a character you couldn’t get away with today. Eugene was an interesting gimmick, you couldn’t hate him cause… ya know… that’s like hating a puppy. But he was a terrible character that should have never been tried and only led to some uncomfortable moments. Poor Nicholas Dinsmore. Imagine getting your big break in the **WWE** and that’s the character they give you. The PC Police will hate it and the fans will find it nothing more than a novelty.

## 3. Gobbledy Gooker

[The Gobbledy Gooker makes his first appearance in WWE (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/xh00VNHNB7o?feature=oembed)

This list is filled with disappointments and none was more significant than the fowl hatching of that egg at **Survivor Series** 1990. After all the hype and build up the fans were greeted with Héctor Guerrero in a damn turkey suit. I bet he downed a whole bottle of Zoloft after that. Poor Gene Okerlund trying to make something outta that bit. It’s painful to watch.

## 4. The Yeti

[Are You Serious? - Here comes The Yeti? - Episode 39 (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/gcLNY_2v4Xg?start=54&feature=oembed)

BEWARE THE HUG SHAKE OF DOOM!!!!!! Seriously, what the hell is this thing? Looks like a rejected stage prop from a Rob Zombie tour.

## 5. Giant Gonzalez

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/Giant_Gonzales_bio.jpg)

Watching the Giant Gonzolez makes you wish for the grace and wrestling prowess of the Great Khali. Not only could this giant lummox not move, but his selling was less convincing than Jindar Mahal’s push. Every time the guy got hit he would seize up like someone hit him in the balls with a stun gun. Seriously, the worst acting since Hayden Christensen.

## 6. The Christmas Creature

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/12_Christmas_Creature.jpg)

So you know how disappointed you are when Kane appears on RAW. I mean we like the guy but most people are ready for a different person to show up and be a paper tiger. But imagine how ticked you’d be when Glen Jacobs showed up in his most ludicrous character: The Christmas Creature! Who the hell thought this was a good idea? This is the kinda thing you come up with after watching *A Christmas Story* on repeat during a 72-hour coke-fueled bender.

## 7 & 8. The Insane Clown Posse: Violent J & Shaggy 2 Dope

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/tumblr_ozm9s5clNB1rg89a6o1_1280.jpg)

You know what? I’m taking the high road on this one. ICP has been joke-fodder ever since they admitted to not knowing how magnets work, but the guys could actually lock up. While they weren’t the best wrestlers, they were serviceable in the ring. However, getting Vampiro to wear stupid clown makeup and calling their wrestling promotion **Juggalo Championsh\*t Wrestling** destroyed any credibility they may have had with wrestling purists. Plus, nobody wants a crowd full of Juggalos at their shows. All the wrestlers would be getting a contact high and slipping on Faygo.

## 9. The Fabulous Moolah

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/fabulous-moolah.jpg)

We were gonna have several female wrestlers on this list, but Moolah played some politics and got the other women banned.

## 10. Zeus

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/Zeus_bio.jpg)

First of all “Tiny” Lister is a much better wrestling name than Zeus. Second, the man was never a wrestler, just a giant actor who brought his character to the ring a few times. It’d be like Mickey Rourke showing up to challenge AJ Styles because he was in *The Wrestler*. Besides he can’t be that intimidating anymore after Ice Cube knocked him the \*\*\*\* out! That was a *Friday* reference for everyone born after 1990.

## 11. Enzo

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/enzo-amore-3.jpg)

Yeah, you’re doing great. You don’t wreak of desperation at all. Enzo is what happens when one drinks their own Kool-Aid. Kool-Aid that had 3x the sugar and maybe a little bit of speed. Now, Enzo was fun to watch on occasion, but he was more abrasive than Gilbert Gottfried with a bullhorn.

## 12. Mabel

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/x1080-rQH.jpg)

By the time Mable makes his way to the ring, the next entrant will be coming down, making Big Daddy V the first man to ever be lapped in a Rumble match. As a kid you aren’t really aware of all the nuances of the wrestling industry, you just know what’s fun to watch and what isn’t. And Mable isn’t. Anytime Mable or Viscera or Big Daddy V or whatever lumbered out to the squared circle it was a signal to me to see what was happening on Nitro.

## 13. Ultimate Warrior

[FULL MATCH - Ultimate Warrior vs. The Honky Tonk Man - Intercontinental Title Match: SummerSlam 1988 (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/hzmWjqzOtfk?feature=oembed)

The Ultimate Warrior is the answer to the question “what if the ’80s were a person?” He’s freakishly ripped like He-Man, covered in more neon than a vaporwave poster, and running around with the intensity of a man who just injected an eightball strait into his eye. I hate to speak ill of the dead, but that’s kinda what this list is about and the man was nuttier than squirrel poo.

## 14. Great Khali

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/009_Show_07312007rf_0024-a2b2cfa09692ea0e05c966f20eba31dd.jpg)

I don’t know about you, but at this point in the Worst Rumble, I’d like to cry. Running down this list of wrestling travesties makes me want to rage-quit faster than CM Punk. The Great Khali is the perfect representation of everything frustrating with the **WWE**. It’s a bad product, you know it’s bad, every fan hates it, yet they keep trying to make it work. Watching ‘Taker trying to put Kahli over was painful. I’d like to make a joke out of this, but the fact that it went on seems joke enough.

## 15. New Jack

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/new-jack-1-750x422.jpg)

New Jack is an outstanding man and wrestler. The pinnacle of class and dignity. And I won’t say anything different for fear of having my head caved in with a folding chair, or just being outright stabbed. Let’s move on.

## 16. Original Sin Cara

[Sin Cara vs. Alberto Del Rio: Raw, August 19, 2013 (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/28A2xkJIGys?feature=oembed)

The Original Sin Cara never made it to the Rumble. He botched his entrance, stubbed his toe, and called off the match.

## 17. Hornswoggle

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/01_hornswoggle_milestone_02.jpg)

There are few names in the **WWE** more synonymous with disappointment than Hornswoggle. Every time he’s revealed as a plot point we all collectively groan. When he was the secret GM and/or when he was Vince’s son were both moments of intrigue that ended worse than *The Last Jedi*. Instead of the **WWE** coming up with a good revelation for there story, they fall back on the sort of humor only Vince likes. It’s funny cause he’s short, get it? Yeah, me neither.

## 18. The Boogeyman

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/untitled.jpg)

The Boogeyman was a novelty that couldn’t really wrestle, but honestly, he didn’t need to. Eating worms was enough to make us all wretch a little yet keep watching. This must be the pinnacle for those kids on the playground who’d eat bugs on a dare. Plus what was with the seizure shaking thing as he came to the ring? Made me wanna put a wallet in his mouth so he wouldn’t bite his tongue… not that he had the teeth for it.

## 19. Sid Vicious

[Mic Mishaps - WWE Top 10 (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/qZ-bFEhs4q4?feature=oembed)

The man with half a brain was actually convincing as a dangerous psychopath when I was a kid. Then I grew up, heard some shoot stories from the road, and realized that he’s actually a dangerous psychopath. However, if you wanna beat Sid, just give him a mic and let him beat himself.

## 20. The Shockmaster

[The unforgettable debut of The Shockmaster (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/Fahljd_0xjA?feature=oembed)

Point and laugh, children. They deserve our shame, otherwise, they won’t learn from this. What moron thought putting a sparkly stormtrooper helmet on someone was a good idea? This is the worst idea since Greedo shooting first (thanks, Randal), or midi-chlorians, or genderizing the Force… Damn, there’s a lot of stupid stuff in *Star Wars*. This was in a time kayfabe was alive an well, so someone thought that if it sparkled no one would recognize one of the most iconic helmets of all time. I guess the Darth Vader helmet with the Disco ball on it was a bit too much.

## 21. Muhammad Hassan

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/a9e815f35ea6c436ba80e84f2aeb86f6b5bb8215_hq.jpg)

Let’s… um… let’s not touch this one either.

## 22. & 23 Public Enemy: Rocco Rock & Johnny Grunge

[Public Enemy vs. The Acolytes: Sunday Night Heat, March 7, 1999 (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/dFLuGQrC48M?feature=oembed)

It’s like ICP without the successful music career or occasional humor. Good news is though if they show back up for the Rumble we might be treated to seeing the APA kick them right back out the door.

## 24. Buff Bagwell

[Booker T vs. Buff Bagwell - WCW Championship Match: Raw, July 2, 2001 (embedded)](https://www.youtube-nocookie.com/embed/km9PPOs2_I8?feature=oembed)

I actually like Buff ‘the Stuff’ Bagwell, but between being a momma’s boy and doing some Skinamax movies, he’s almost as embarrassing as the tribal armband tattoos everyone got in the ’90s. While he was kinda cool in the NWO, in retrospect he kinda seems like an overcompensating man-child. I should know, we can smell our own.

## 25. Papa Shango

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/Papa_Shango_bio.jpg)

Who the hell put the voodoo master on this list?! Do you want to get us all cursed?! While the character was terrifying to little kids like me, most everyone else saw it as a joke and the bit died fairly quickly. It’s a shame because we missed an opportunity to have him form a stable with the Undertaker under Paul Bearer.

## 26. Godfather

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/002_God_02142000tb_01-2b22df62b57053e7eb4a6e365c4243a6.jpg)

Charles Wright is pulling a Mick Foley and entering multiple gimmicks in the Rumble this year. While the Godfather wasn’t a bad character at the time, he certainly hasn’t aged well. In today’s cultural climate the **WWE** could never get away with this gimmick.

## 27. Bastion Booger

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/f6c5932616250126394599374243eef89778cc00v2_hq.jpg)

It’s like body horror the wrestler. Booger was hard to look at and that was the point I suppose. He had an outfit made of duct tape and constant sheen of grease that was more likely the result of handling ham for at least 16 hours every day rather than physical exertion.

## 28. The Booty Man

https://youtu.be/wYjTCxqQFsw

Some people say Ed Leslie owes his career to being a Hulk Hogan hanger-on. That, I think, does the man a disservice. Brutus Beefcake was a weird but awesome gimmick and I genuinely felt for him when Money Inc. broke his face. But this garbage… It’s like if Ned Flanders had come up with Billy Gunn’s Ass-Man gimmick. His finisher was the High Knee. Get it? High knee = hiney. I bet Vince shot chocolate milk out his nose laughing when he heard it on the playground. Seriously typing that was so painful I’m gonna go have a Percocet with a whiskey chaser.

## 29. Vince Russo

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/Vince-Russo-700x400.jpg)

I actually had to delete what we wrote for this entrant. It went to some dark places. No one man associated with wrestling creates more raw hatred than maybe…

## 30. Donald Trump

![](https://migration-stage.wrestletalk.com/app/uploads/2019/01/trump.jpg)

This is the best entrant in a Rumble EVER. The spray tan makes him hard to grip, making him as elusive in the ring as he is when someone asks him for his tax records. No one is more qualified or has more moves, he knows all the moves, he has the best moves. He’s gonna build a wall around the ring, but make the luchadors pay for it.
