With CMLL and NJPW’s co-produced exhibition shows Fantastica Mania out of the way, it is back to serious business for New Japan with back-to-back nights in the same venue for New Beginning in Sapporo.
Following on from the events of Wrestle Kingdom and New Year’s Dash, New Beginning should set the tone for the next few months, giving an indication about who is getting pushed and where the company is going next.
There are not many in the way of singles bouts over the two nights, with much of the make-up of the cards consisting of multi-man action, but there is enough on offer that Sapporo should be treated to two stellar nights of action.
