Three months since being officially announced as the host city of WWE WrestleMania 42, New Orleans, LA is now no longer staging next year’s event.
While New Orleans will reportedly host a future WrestleMania, all attention turns to which city will be named as its replacement for 2026’s Grandest Stage of Them All.
Here are four new host locations for WWE WrestleMania 42:
4. Wembley Stadium – London, England
After years and years of British fans shouting to the high heavens regarding WrestleMania one day coming to the UK, perhaps 2026 could be fated to finally be the year it happens.
London’s Mayor Sadiq Khan has repeatedly expressed his commitment to making London the first international city to host WWE’s biggest event, with the likes of Triple H and John Cena fuelling speculation.
Since Wrestlenomics’ report revealing that New Orleans was no longer hosting WrestleMania 42, there is already speculation that WWE could be heading to an international location next year.
If this is indeed the case then London must be considered one of, if not the front runner.
