Jon Moxley’s new version of the Blackpool Combat Club has turned everything in AEW upside down.
The entire locker room is trying to fend off the invading force of the group that was once the honourable wrestling stable in AEW. While groups like The Elite are still deciding where they stand on this, decisions have to be made by everyone in the company.
Are you with the BCC or against them? Who might actually end up joining the group? Some shocking names might be in store. Here are five AEW stars to join Jon Moxley’s new faction.
5. Katsuyori Shibata
In-ring proficiency is embedded in the Blackpool Combat Club, with one of the best technical performers of all-time William Regal being the former figurehead when it first started.
No other wrestler signals mat-wrestling more than the man who calls himself ‘The Wrestler’ Katsuyri Shibata.
His status with babyface group The Conglomeration remains unclear, but after recently tasting defeat to Jack Perry at WrestleDream, Shibata may be someone who takes a liking to the words of Moxley.
Next to Castagnoli, PAC, Shafir and Yuta, he is a man who can silently but viciously strike when ever Moxley calls for it and would be an ideal fit with the group.
