5 AEW Stars To Return At Full Gear 2025

With several top names in AEW out of action at the minute, there could be some notable returns happening in the near future.

From those long out of action due to injury to others who have taken time away from the squared circle for other Hollywood projects, there could be some fan favorite names making their returns to AEW very soon.

Here are five AEW stars that could be making a return at Full Gear 2025.

5. MJF

After being off AEW TV since his last appearance at September’s AEW All Out in a Tables n’ Tacks match against Mark Briscoe — a return from MJF could be on the horizon.

While the former AEW World Champion was reportedly out of action filming a new movie, Violent Night 2 which is reportedly nearing completion.

Possibly back for an appearance at Full Gear 2025, MJF could easily issue a challenge to either Samoa Joe or Hangman Adam Page depending on who leaves with the World title.

MJF continues to hold a contract for a championship match which he can ‘cash-in’, however unlike WWE’s Money in the Bank briefcase — it cannot be done as a surprise at any time.
