Let’s get the worst option out of the way first.
The worst thing to do would be to simply say the match won’t be happening and not have Wardlow appear at all.
Wardlow vs MJF has been the selling point of this pay-per-view. CM Punk having a World Title match is obviously a big deal too, but if you look at the past few months of TV, the Wardlow vs MJF storyline has been the most compelling and most well-received.
Fans have really gotten behind Wardlow, and to leave him off the show completely would not be a good move at all.
I haven’t included it as its own entry on this list, but simply having Wardlow beat Shawn Spears would be just as bad.
