The biggest match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door will see Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi finally battle to determine the Interim AEW World Champion.
The Eliminator Tournament to determine the AEW participant in the bout saw many competitors from the roster in a Casino Battle Royale, but there were some notable participants missing.
Bryan Danielson was one of those major names not apart of the tournament and has shown in the past that he desires to become the top champion in the company.
Despite his Blackpool Combat Club teammate being in the main event, The American Dragon could throw down a challenge to the winner of the Interim AEW World Title.
The BCC has shown that they aren’t afraid to do battle with one another.
It was how Moxley and Danielson became partners in the first place at Revolution this year.
Bryan has also made it no secret that he wants an encounter with Hiroshi Tanahashi.
The two men faced in the early years of their career, but it would now be an instant classic for sure on a huge stage.
Either way, Danielson has to be considered one of the top contenders for the interim title if he is healthy.
