5 Victims The Fiend Should Face Next

5 Victims The Fiend Should Face Next

On Sunday at SummerSlam, we saw the in-ring debut of Bray ‘The Fiend’ Wyatt in a terrifying display, and now that Finn Bàlor has been disposed of, The Fiend is sure to set his sights on someone new.

But who’s next for The Fiend? Here are five potential future victims.

Roman Reigns

I’ll get this one out of the way as it’s inevitable that the ‘Big Dog’ and Bray will cross paths at some point down the line, so, why not pull the trigger now?

Roman is technically sound in the ring and Bray is the hottest thing going at the moment. They’d be sure to put on a good match and Roman putting Bray over would be a great way to really build him up.

After all if Reigns can’t stop The Fiend then who can? And that’s an interesting story to explore if you ask me.

Seth Rollins

The ‘Architect’ just won the Universal Championship back from Brock Lesnar in what was a twist for most people, so the question is, where does he go now?

My answer is to face The Fiend.

Most people are probably thinking “but, Seth can’t lose the belt so quickly” or “but, Bray can’t take a loss this early”.

Well, I say “yes he can”… to the first one I mean.

Imagine a Fiend who comes in and quickly takes the top prize. What better way to cement a threat as The Fiend continues to make his presence known through the company.

Drew McIntyre

Drew hasn’t had the best time during his second WWE run despite having won the NXT Championship.

He’s been stuck in programs where he was treated as the lackey for others which is really a shame.

A feud with Bray, even one where he suffers a loss, could make Drew look favorable and also give Bray a good show.

Drew has a decent win record so for The Fiend to dispatch him would leave fans with a sense of fear for whoever would dare stand in his way.

Heath Slater

This one is more out there, but Heath has been in a position of stagnation after the departure of his partner Rhyno and if we’re being honest, even before that.

Heath is a talented wrestler but his gimmick hasn’t seen much change in the last few years so a quick feud and then loss to Bray may be beneficial as he can go away and work on a new character.

It could mean that Heath returns to NXT yet again, although, these days that is actually not a bad idea. Or he could ask Bray for some ideas.

While this may seem to mostly benefit Slater, it would also give Bray another few wins under his belt which doesn’t hurt.

The Demon

I know this one is technically cheating because it’s actually for a few months down the line.

Nonetheless, come WrestleMania season when Bray has hopefully had a good few months on a winning streak and Finn has been gone from the company on break, the two clashing again with their undefeated personas could be a really interesting scenario.

The result of the match would be hard to guess as it could go either way, and if Bray wins, he would become the first person on the main roster to have defeated The Demon, a massive boost for the character and also possibly opening more gateways for him.

The Demon and The Fiend tag team anyone?

On a more serious note, being one of only two people to have defeated Bàlor in this form would add to Bray’s legitimacy as a serious contender for any of the belts and indeed for the company itself.
