With WWE Money in the Bank 2025 almost here, the card for the PLE is seemingly set – albeit still missing a lot of top stars.
While storylines have suggested that there could be more matches added to the event, it seems that many teased showdowns have been delayed or canceled entirely.
Here are five WWE Money in the Bank 2025 matches that seemed likely but ended up not being booked for the event.
5. CM Punk & Sami Zayn vs. Bronson Reed & Bron Breakker
Four top names absent from the Money in the Bank card include CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker.
With continued run-ins on WWE Raw, it would have made sense to see this tag bout added to the final line up.
However, with the tag team battle between John Cena & Logan Paul and Cody Rhodes & Jey Uso already taking center stage for the event – perhaps it almost makes sense why this bout was left off.
While a tag team match was perhaps unlikely, expect to still see appearances from all four men, with inference likely during Seth Rollins’ attempts to win the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
