WWE recently crowned Liv Morgan and Cody Rhodes the first ever Crown Jewel Champions, with new champions to be decided annually at every Crown Jewel event.
With WWE always looking to expand, there are plenty of other new championship ideas that fans and even talent have pitched, and a lot of them do seem like intriguing ideas.
Here are five new WWE championships that WWE could introduce.
5. WWE Trios Championship
One thing that’s been a staple of the Triple H-led WWE is the formation of more factions, and while that isn’t inherently a negative, there have been some fans who believe certain championships are essentially being used as props within these factions.
See the barely ever defended World Tag Team Championship in Judgment Day, for example.
One remedy for that, if you want faction members to be champions, is to create a title specifically for them, rather than using up one that already exists.
There are more than enough ‘trios’ for WWE to introduce that type of belt – Chad Gable and the Creed Brothers, Legado Del Fantasma, The Bloodline, Karrion Kross and the Authors of Pain, any three members of Judgment Day, same with the LWO, and potentially even Roman Reigns and The Usos.
