5. Santos Escobar To Leave Legado del Fantasma

One of the more interesting WWE stories in recent months has been the contract situation of Santos Escobar, who last month saw his WWE contract expire — sending him to a brief period of free agency — before it was reported that he was set to return to WWE shortly afterwards.

With the news that Santos Escobar had re-signed with WWE came some details regarding his potential future creative plans.

With rumors that he’s been due for a renewed push, it seems as if Escobar is set to go his own way — which could potentially mean that a split of Legato del Fantasma is coming.

Poised to being a singles star, it could be that Escobar ends up debuting an entirely new character in his return to the company.
