In recent months, Seth Rollins has taken his ‘Monday Night Messiah’ moniker quite literally and adopted young talent to join his following.
The first to join were Akam and Rezar, AOP. They’ve been off TV recently though due to Rezar suffering a torn bicep.
Third to join the crew was Buddy Murphy, who later had his name changed to just Murphy because that sounded more like a disciple, apparently. Rollins saw him down at ringside after a match and offered to pick him up, and the duo even won the Raw Tag Team Championship together.
Rollins later pulled the same deal with Austin Theory, who had just been kicked out of Zelina Vega’s cohort by Andrade and Angel Garza.
If Rollins is looking to further expand his following, who should he look to bring aboard? Here are five names that would be good additions to his crew of disciples.
Liv Morgan
The same words you’d use to describe Rollins’ followers are the exact same words you’d use to describe Liv Morgan.
Young in their career, easily influenced, and huge potential.
Liv Morgan’s TV return at the end of last year for the whole Lana wedding thing ended completely abruptly and left her directionless. She has picked up a few wins, including one over Natalya on the WrestleMania pre-show, but right now has zero momentum.
She keeps saying how she’s trying to find herself, and she doesn’t really know who she is yet, which seems like Rollins’ perfect idea for someone new to bring on board.
It would get Morgan on TV, add an extra dynamic to the group that it doesn’t already have, and overall seems like it would be a really good move.
