With the exception of the Men’s and Women’s Crown Jewel Championships, none of WWE’s active titles were defended at the recent PLE in Perth.
However, with two Saturday Night’s Main Event shows and Survivor Series still to come before the end of the year, we’re almost certain to see some championship gold change hands in 2025.
Which titles could be next?
WrestleTalk considers the possibilities.
5. AJ Lee Defeats Becky Lynch For Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Former Divas Champion AJ Lee returned to WWE programming last month after a 10-year absence.
Teaming with her husband CM Punk to feud with Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, Lee made it clear during their interactions that she’s coming after Lynch’s Intercontinental Title — even going as far as to steal the belt.
Lee has not appeared on WWE programming since she and Punk defeated Lynch and Rollins at Wrestlepalooza last month, but it seems likely she’ll establish a singles programme with the IC Champion when she does return.
The odds are high that Lee will soon capture the Women’s Intercontinental Title for the first time in her career.
