6 Bold Predictions For AEW Revolution

6 Bold Predictions For AEW Revolution

AEW has been on fire lately and Revolution looks set to be another stellar show.

The card is looking stacked – featuring a huge ladder match, Sting’s first match since 2015 and even an exploding barbed wire deathmatch. Plus, the promotion will announce a “Hall of Fame worthy” signing.

Without further ado, here are six bold predictions for Sunday’s event.

6. An Impact Talent Will Show Up

There is a lot of hype surrounding the ‘Face of the Revolution’ Ladder match, with fans keen to see who the surprise entrant will be.

AEW has formed an interesting partnership with Impact Wrestling in recent months. The Good Brothers have regularly appeared on Dynamite while Matt Hardy, Private Party and even Kenny Omega have all shown up in Impact.

This match is the perfect opportunity to showcase someone like Chris Bey, one of Impact’s most exciting talents. Equally, it could also be used to set up a champ versus champ match – who wouldn’t want to see Darby Allin take on Rich Swann or Moose?

5. Darby Allin Will Do His Biggest Stunt Yet

Darby Allin has been one of AEW’s biggest success stories.

The TNT Champion has become one of the most popular stars on the roster due to his awesome look and death-defying stunts. It’s not every day you get to team up with a legend like Sting, and no doubt Allin will want to do something crazy to mark the occasion.

He’s already been dragged along the road in a body bag and taken one of the most brutal table spots in recent history thanks to Team Taz. We can’t wait to see what he does next.

4. The Dark Order Will Score a Big Win

The wrestling world has rallied around the Dark Order since the tragic passing of Brodie Lee late last year.

The group is now almost unrecognizable from its cult-like origins. They have become one of the most popular acts on Dynamite due to their brave efforts throughout Lee’s tribute show and more recently their wholesome friendship with ‘Hangman’ Adam Page.

Given their over-the-top character work, it’s easy to forget that Stu Grayson and Evil Uno are a superb tag team when they step in the ring. Revolution will include the first-ever Tag Team Casino Battle Royale with a shot at the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the line.

It would be awesome to see the pair earn a big win on Pay-Per-View and go on to fight for the gold.
