6 Bold Predictions For AEW Revolution

3. Ryo Mizunami Will Dethrone Shida

The AEW Women’s division has come a long way over the past few months and Hikaru Shida’s reign has been a huge part of the journey.

The Japanese star is a great fighting champion and has put on thrilling bouts with Nyla Rose, Penelope Ford and Thunder Rosa. However, she will have been champion for 288 days by the time Revolution comes around and perhaps it’s time for a change.

Ryo Mizunami is very underrated and a win over Shida would instantly make her look like a star. Plus, she has momentum on her side after pinning Nyla Rose to win the inaugural AEW Women’s Title Eliminator Tournament.

2. Kurt Angle Will Join AEW

Paul Wight’s shocking announcement on Dynamite sent social media into a frenzy, with fans eager to find out who AEW’s “Hall of Fame worthy” signing is.

There have been lots of rumours flying around, including some realistic options like Rob Van Dam and also some crazy suggestions like Brock Lesnar and CM Punk. But what if Kurt Angle is the star joining AEW?

Angle was released by WWE last year and hasn’t wrestled since his underwhelming retirement match with Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35. The Olympic Hero is in great shape and there’s every chance he will want to end his in-ring career on a high.

1. MJF Will Betray Chris Jericho

MJF’s role in the Inner Circle has been one of the highlights of Dynamite over the past few months. Friedman has already caused mayhem within the group, turning Sammy Guevara against his brothers.

Now, it seems like a matter of time until he turns on Chris Jericho. While it would be interesting to see the pair get a run with the Tag Titles, the story doesn’t really need the gold and there’s still mileage in the Young Bucks’ reign.

There are so many ways it could go – will MJF turn his back on the Inner Circle or try to steal control of the group from Le Champion? And what role will Guevara play? We will have to wait until AEW Revolution to find out.
