WWE Backlash 2025 is taking shape coming off the heels of the two-night WrestleMania 41 premium live event.
The May 10 show will see John Cena defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against Randy Orton in the main event, in addition to the newly confirmed Lyra Valkyria vs Becky Lynch for Valkyria’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship, as well as Pat McAfee vs GUNTHER.
With less than two weeks before the event, there will be several changes that take place for the PLE in the next few days.
Here are six potential changes to WWE Backlash 2025.
6. IYO SKY & Rhea Ripley vs. Roxanne Perez & Giulia Added To The Card
On the April 21 WWE Raw After WrestleMania 41, Roxanne Perez and Giulia interfered in the IYO SKY vs. Stephanie Vaquer match to cause a disqualification.
Post-match, Rhea Ripley made the save for SKY and Vaquer, and fought off the two former NXT Women’s Champions.
Then on the April 28 episode of Raw, Giulia caused a disqualification in the bout between Ripley and Perez before SKY returned to the favour to Rhea.
This should set the stage for IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley to join forces in a contest against Roxanne Perez and Giulia at WWE Backlash 2025.
