WWE SmackDown’s run on FOX came to an end last week, with the show set to return to the USA Network, starting with this week’s episode.
With this week’s show marking the premiere of the show on the USA Network, a number of big moments could be set to take place, including a number of debuts on the brand.
Here are 6 debuts that could take place at the WWE SmackDown premiere on the USA Network.
6) Lucha Bros
Former AEW World Tag Team Champions Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo are seemingly on their way out of AEW, with them reportedly set to be headed to WWE.
After the initial reports came out, it was noted that the duo were looking to debut on WWE’s main roster rather than the NXT brand.
It’s not known exactly when the pair’s contracts with AEW are set to expire, so it may not be contractually possible, but if they are available, it would be a big moment for the show.
The WWE SmackDown tag team division could use the shot in the arm, or perhaps they could debut as free agents and appear across Raw and SmackDown.
