5. AEW Continental Championship – Kazuchika Okada (c) Vs. Claudio Castagnoli
On the August 21 edition of AEW Dynamite from Cardiff, Wales The Elite’s Kazuchika Okada and the Blackpool Combat Club’s Claudio Castagnoli went to war over the Continental Championship.
Sadly for both Claudio and the fans however, the match ended in a dissatisfying time-limit draw, which one would think would nicely set up a rematch.
So far however, there has been no word on this happening, with Okada set to defend his title against Kyle Fletcher on the Wednesday, September 4 Dynamite instead.
With his Trio’s partner PAC busy challenging for the AEW International Championship, Claudio should be free to finally have that rematch with Okada at All Out, and considering the quality of their first bout it’s hard to see the Chicago crowd having any gripes.
