On Saturday, June 27, WWE will return to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for the Night of Champions 2026 premium live event.

The show will feature the finals of the King and Queen of the Ring tournaments to determine the challengers for the men’s and women’s world titles at WWE SummerSlam 2026.

Here are six potential matches to be added to WWE Night of Champions 2026.

WWE United States Championship: Trick Williams (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Ricky Saints

Over the past few weeks, Carmelo Hayes and Ricky Saints have been jockeying for position in the United States Championship picture.

Hayes and Saints have been battling in singles matches with the two men splitting three matches against one another.

While Melo won their first bout and the two stars went to a double countout in their second meeting, Saints pulled out a win over his new rival on the June 5 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

This should lead to Melo and Ricky both challenging Trick Williams for the WWE US Title at the Night of Champions 2026 PLE in Riyadh.

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Penta (c) vs. Ethan Page vs. Rusev vs. Chad Gable

Penta has proven himself as a fighting champion in a significant way over the past few months.

After winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Dominik Mysterio in March, Penta has not backed down from any challenges and has pulled out successful defenses against the likes of Rey Mysterio, Je’Von Evans and El Grande Americano.

Ethan Page and Rusev have made it clear that they want their opportunities at the gold, while Chad Gable has made a recent return to WWE programming and has been making amends with the luchadors, even helping them against an attack from the duo.

Pitting Penta against Rusev, Page and Gable in a four way might prove to be the toughest test yet of his IC Title reign and a showstealer on the WWE Night of Champions card.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Paige & Brie Bella (c) vs. Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid)

At WWE WrestleMania 42 Night One, Paige and Brie Bella defeated The Irresistible Forces, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria and Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Then on the April 24 WWE SmackDown After WrestleMania 42, Fatal Influence made their main roster debut and immediately targeted the Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley have made it perfectly clear they plan on getting the gold from the two legendary stars.

Paige and Brie defending the titles against Fatal Influence should be a standout bout on WWE Night of Champions 2026 and could see new champions being crowned.

WWE Tag Team Championships: Damian Priest & R-Truth (c) vs. The MFTs (Tama & Talla Tonga)

Speaking of the tag team division, WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest and R-Truth have been targeted by The MFTs.

Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga have been attacking Truth and Priest at every turn, looking to weaken them to take back the WWE Tag Team Titles.

After several weeks without a title defense, it feels like WWE Night of Champions 2026 should be the event for Priest and Truth to defend the gold once again.

The MFTs looking to get their hands back on the WWE Tag Team Championships could make for an intriguing title bout with Truth and Priest in Saudi Arabia.

WWE World Tag Team Championships: The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory) (c) vs. Seth Rollins & Montez Ford

After clashing with one another in singles competition and seeing Angelo Dawkins being taken out by Austin Theory, Montez Ford and Seth Rollins have come together to take down The Vision.

This led to Ford coming to Rollins’ aid in his match against Bron Breakker on the June 1 edition of Monday Night Raw.

Picking up a win over Breakker in that bout, Rollins thought he put The Vision in the rearview mirror, but his former group cost him the King of the Ring tournament in his first round four-way match on the June 8 WWE Raw.

Following their interference in his chance to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE SummerSlam 2026, it should lead to Rollins teaming with Ford to challenge Breakker and Theory for the World Tag Team Titles on June 28.

Undisputed WWE Championship: Cody Rhodes (c) vs. GUNTHER vs. Sami Zayn

At WWE Clash In Italy 2026, Cody Rhodes defeated GUNTHER to retain the Undisputed WWE Championship, but this did not come without some controversy as GUNTHER’s foot was under the ropes for the winning pinfall.

Just when “The Ring General” was looking to get his rematch from “The American Nightmare,” Sami Zayn inserted himself to note GUNTHER’s interference in his match against Rhodes on the May 22 episode of SmackDown.

Zayn has expressed his frustration over his failures to become a world champion and being disrespected by his former friend Cody Rhodes as well as SmackDown GM Nick Aldis.

Looking to turn around his fortunes, Zayn should once again insert himself in the mix and join Rhodes as well as GUNTHER in a three-way bout for the Undisputed WWE Championship at Night of Champions 2026.
