WWE
With WWE potentially looking to create distance from some of the PLEs that have become stale, they could instead look to bring back old favorites.
From events that were one-offs that fans still remember today to others that could serve as a slight rebranding to a concept that some fans are already rallying to bring back — there are some intriguing choices for events that could be revived in the new year.
Here are six old WWE PLEs that could return in the near future.
6. St Valentine’s Day Massacre

With February 14, 2026 falling on a Saturday, WWE could definitely revive this PLE name for one more go.
Only used once in 1999, St. Valentine’s Day Massacre is often remembered by Attitude Era fans as playing host to the legendary Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon Steel Cage Match.
Able to come back in 2026, the event could add another stop on the Road to WrestleMania 42 in order to expand on growing rivalries and bring up the drama.
Potentially able to be a special edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, there could be some broken hearts and broken bones for the holiday in 2026.
