AEW Full Gear 2024 is set to take place this Saturday, and it is an important event for AEW heading into the new year.

As such, a number of potential returns could take place on the show in order to drive up interest heading into the Continental Classic and the remainder of 2024.

6) ‘Timeless’ Toni Storm

AEW Women’s World Champion is not set to defend her championship at Full Gear, instead will be hosting a Champagne Celebration alongside Mina Shirakawa.

The segment seems tailormade for the return of Toni Storm, who has not been seen since she exited stage left after losing the AEW Women’s World Championship at All In.

Mariah’s title reign has not really had any real direction since she won the title, so hopefully Toni’s return, and Mina returning, will help give her more to sink her teeth into in the coming months.

Toni and Mariah’s rematch taking place at Grand Slam Australia next year, a parallel to Mariah challenging Toni in her home country.
