While still on the heels of a massive WrestleMania 41, WWE is approaching the next big event – Backlash 2025 in St Louis, Missouri on May 10.

From stars that are out of action due to injury, to others who have simply been absent from TV for some time – there could be multiple big returns at the event.

Here are six potential returns at WWE Backlash 2025.

6. Kabuki Warriors

With Dakota Kai departing WWE and IYO SKY holding the WWE Women’s World Championship – the future remains unknown for the Damage CTRL faction.

Asuka is reportedly set for a return in May – a detail that was noted ahead of WrestleMania 41.

What better way for her to make a surprise return than to reappear at Backlash 2025 – however what isn’t known is whether or not she will be alone.

Also reportedly spotted backstage at WrestleMania 41 and nearing return – Kairi Sane. Potentially signaling the return of the duo as a tag team, they could definitely pop-up in St. Louis.
