5. The Hurt Syndicate Debut
Since we mentioned him, we now move on to one of the most intriguing stories heading into Dynamite, that being MVP’s attempted recruitment of Swerve Strickland.
MVP is clearly on a bit of a recruitment drive as he begins life in AEW, with Strickland unsurprisingly his top target.
However, we all know the former WWE star may have some old friends already waiting in the wings to fill the spots in his roster of clients – that being of course Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley.
Lashley and Benjamin, along with MVP reportedly held talks with AEW prior to the latter’s debut, so it seems likely we see them show up next and potentially enter into a feud with Strickland. Something that if AEW wants to get the ball rolling for, may require the group to debut on this week’s fifth anniversary show.
