From potential returns to brand new stars that could be debuting — there seems to be some intriguing twists and turns yet to be revealed before AEW wraps up a big summer in 2025.

6. MJF Reunites With Wardlow
Since being ousted from the Hurt Syndicate, MJF’s character is at a serious tipping point.
While he has proclaimed in the past to not trust anyone — he has yet again found himself aligned with someone new who has turned their back on him. Perhaps it isn’t that MJF can’t trust anyone, he just doesn’t need any new friends.
With Wardlow continuing to be conspicuously absent from AEW but seemingly able to return — there’s actually a case to be made for MJF turning to a familiar face in a time of need.
Potentially looking to recruit from elsewhere entirely on the AEW roster — MJF could make it clear he wasn’t planning on reclaiming his AEW World Championship without back-up just because the Syndicate dumped him.
