WWE Backlash 2025 will be the first premium live event following the two-night WrestleMania 41 events from Las Vegas.
Taking place from St. Louis, Missouri, the show will feature some major fallout from “The Show of Shows” and should further shift things within the company after several significant changes at Mania.
Despite multiple titles switching hands over the course of the past week, Backlash could see other championships changing with a few stars already setting their sights on gold.
Just two weeks away from the next major show, here are six potential title changes at WWE Backlash 2025.
6. Becky Lynch Dethrones Lyra Valkyria For The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship
At WrestleMania 41, Becky Lynch made her return to the company to team with Lyra Valkyria to defeat Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
However, this reign was very short-lived as The Judgment Day duo went on to regain their titles from Lyra and Becky the following night on the Raw After Mania.
The post match saw Lynch turn heel by attacking Valkyria out of frustration over their loss.
This should lead to a showdown over the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Backlash that sees Becky capture the newly introduced title and add some prestigious to the gold while elevating this rivalry.
