6 Ways Triple H Could Make King Of The Ring 2023 Feel Like A Big Deal

Have The Entire Tournament In One Night

This might seem a little obvious – as in, so obvious that you just assumed this is what they’ll be doing already – but if WWE has a premium live event that’s just one long tournament (or, I guess, two long tournaments), it would be a pretty radical departure for a company that favors wrestling events which operate more like variety shows.

What I’m saying is: don’t be surprised if the “King of the Ring Premium Live Event” is actually just the men and women’s finals with a few extra tag matches sprinkled in for flavor.

However, if they don’t choose to go down that route, they have the option to pull off the old Adam Blampied Fantasy Booking Special by having every match of the tournament happen over the course of a single evening, allowing them the opportunity to tell more complex stories that carry over from one match to the next.

People forming alliances, friends meeting friends, enemies meeting lovers; it’s all possible with a big tourney PLE.

And when the storytelling is that good, you’ll barely even care that Baron Corbin won again.
