Since AEW began in 2019, we’ve seen many legends of WWE and the wrestling business as a whole either sign with the company or make cameo appearances on their programming.
Although AEW have recently allowed some of their signed veterans to depart the company, such as Arn Anderson and Mark Henry, there are plenty others who seem like they could potentially show up on TV soon.
Whether it’s to sign on in an official capacity or just to make a cameo appearance, here are six WWE legends who could join AEW.
6. WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix
Weeks after it was first reported, WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix has now officially confirmed that she is no longer a part of the company.
While it’s by no means a given, due to her husband Adam Copeland now competing in AEW – it seems plausible that The Glamazon could potentially follow suit.
Despite not being an active in-ring competitor on a regular basis anymore, she has showed in WWE in recent years that she’s still more than capable of mixing it up with the best of the modern women’s roster.
AEW specifically offers a whole host of first-time matches for Phoenix, with the potential also there for some mixed tag matches alongside her husband once her returns from injury.
