WWE’s third brand, NXT, continues to serve as its developmental system – a destination that most signees must pass through on their way to the main roster.
Historically, however, call-ups from NXT to Raw or SmackDown haven’t always resulted into major success or sustained pushes for the graduating stars.
That said, the current NXT roster features several can’t-miss talents.
Here are six stars that Triple H will surely push when they make the transition to WWE’s flagship programming.
6. Oba Femi
Current NXT Champion Oba Femi appears to be on the very cusp of a transition to the main roster.
In storyline, he’s cleared out his list of challengers and is now set to face Pro Wrestling NOAH’s Yoshiki Inamura at the Great American Bash on July 12.
Arguably, no one in NXT has the attributes more suited for main event stardom than Femi: still relatively new to the sport, he combines size, an explosive big-man moveset, natural charisma, and palpable big-match presence.
It would be a shock not to see him strapped with the proverbial rocket pack when he lands on Raw or SmackDown.
