5. Feud With Drew McIntyre

During his rise up the ranks on WWE NXT thanks to his dark, mysterious persona and fluid in-ring precision, Malakai Black became one of the most popular stars on the entire brand.
Black also gained some popularity through his work against the likes of Buddy Matthews and Seth Rollins on the WWE main roster. Bringing back the former AEW star into the company, WWE could present Black as a babyface again, pitting him against a litany of top heels currently in the promotion.
Perhaps there is no heel who is better equipped at elevating Black on the mic and in the ring more than Drew McIntyre.
With recent reports indicating some frustration in his WrestleMania 41 program, McIntyre could provide the perfect opponent for a big time showcase encounter for the returning Aleister Black.
