With WWE stars absent due to Hollywood projects or injury, it seems ahead of SummerSlam there will be some roster returns.

Between returns that are are known to be happening to others that remain unconfirmed but highly speculated about, there are a lot of possibilities.

Here are six WWE returns that are coming soon.

6. The Miz

After having been off of WWE TV for some time, it has been reported this week that The Miz is likely to be back sooner rather than later.

Unlike other stars who have been absent, The Miz was not out of action due to injury and rather was doing something far more exciting in his time away from WWE.

Serving as the host of the brand new reboot of American Gladiators, The Miz completed a marathon filming schedule that saw the production film the first two seasons of the show before going on hiatus.

Fun fact – give of the Gladiators in the reboot will be familiar to pro wrestling fans as AEW stars Kamille and Wardlow are reportedly featured as talent on the show, as well as former WWE star Rick Boogs, and OVW’s Jessie Godderz and J-Rod.
