After a strong 2024 in terms of high profile debutants on AEW programming, fans will be hoping for more new faces showing up in the company in 2025.
From new signings to crossover appearances from other companies, AEW will undoubtedly be looking to freshen up their ranks in the coming months, particularly with big events like AEW Revolution around the corner.
Here are seven AEW debuts coming soon.
7. Hazuki
After closing out 2024 with one of the most acclaimed women’s matches of the year against Mercedes Mone at NJPW STRONG Style Evolved, fans will be anticipating STARDOM’s Hazuki to show up in AEW at some point.
Whether that is for a rematch with Mone or mixing it up with the plethora of female talent on the roster remains to be seen, but the opportunities are certainly there.
With Forbidden Door set to take place once again in the Summer many would expect to see the likes of Mone, Toni Storm and Mariah May to feature against the top talent of STARDOM and CMLL.
While AEW’s spotlight on Stephanie Vaquer at last year’s Forbidden Door didn’t result in them signing the Chilean, perhaps Hazuki making her debut could lead to them eventually acquiring her services full time for the second half of the year.
