Since the company’s inception in 2019, AEW has never been shy about bringing in some of the top free agents in the business.
Last year saw the company bring in the likes of Mercedes Mone, Kazuchika Okada, Ricochet, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and MVP.
The next 12 months should see even more free agent being brought into the promotion from former WWE and TNA Wrestling stars, to legends of the past.
Here are seven new AEW signings.
7. Speedball Mike Bailey
Signing with TNA Wrestling in 2021, Speedball Mike Bailey firmly established himself as one of the company’s most consistent and reliable in-ring performers.
The former three-time X-Division Champion put on countless showstealing encounters against the likes of Josh Alexander, Zachary Wentz and Mustafa Ali.
With Bailey’s TNA deal expiring, the stage is set for the Canadian star to get a big payday and sign with one of the major promotions in the industry.
Speedball signing with AEW could lead to many memorable bouts against the phenomenal array of talent on the roster, such as Swerve Strickland, Ricochet and Hangman Adam Page.
