A number of names have jumped back and forth between WWE and AEW in the past year, with Ricochet, Bobby Lashley and MVP moving to AEW, while Ethan Page, Jade Cargill and Shawn Spears made the move to WWE.
With contract season approaching, and both companies set to begin new TV and streaming deals in the new year, a number of current AEW stars could be next up to make the move over to WWE.
Here are 7 AEW stars that could join WWE soon.
7) Miro
Miro has not been seen on AEW television for almost a year now, last competing at AEW World’s End in December, where he defeated Andrade.
Since then, Miro has requested his release from the company, which has not been granted as of yet, but it seems inevitable that his departure from the company will happen soon.
If Miro ends up getting his release, it’d make sense that he may end up making a return to WWE, given how popular Rusev Day was in the company prior to his departure.
He’s a ready made midcarder ready to slide onto either Raw or SmackDown.
