Danhausen is another AEW star whose status with the company came into question recently amid his ongoing absence from television.
It was recently reported that Danhausen had expressed frustration to Tony Khan after plans for him to make his return had been changed, with there currently no plans in place for him to return to AEW.
Danhausen is very good friends with CM Punk, so if he does end up leaving AEW soon, which it seems is very likely, he could easily end up with a spot in NXT.
His character would quickly get over with the NXT crowd in Orlando.
